our roots

We retired our 30+ year landscape and irrigation company to make our “urban exodus” in fall of 2018. In our dreams the flower farm idea started as a lavender farm, but we soon realized that we wanted to include a variety of flowers to cut, sell, and share.

In 2019, our first growing/selling year we hit the ground running. It was a learning curve in many ways. We had successes and failures along the way, but we continued to adjust to whatever nature and circumstances threw our way. Overall we had a decent first year. We worked hard and had a great time. We made some wonderful friends, customers and connections in the process.

Moving forward our goals are many. We are increasing our growing capacity by opening up additional ground to include more annual, perennial, fruit and vegetable beds. We continue our strides toward creating a self-sustainable flower farm by composting garden waste, mulching, and seed saving when possible. Being self-sustainable keeps our flowers affordable.
